Instagram may soon allow creators to share comments on their Stories
Instagram, a popular photo-sharing application, is reportedly testing a new feature that will allow creators to share comments on their Stories, including comments on their posts or Reels. The Meta-owned platform is constantly working on new features for creators to better interact with their followers.
This was followed by Instagram head Adam Mosseri announcing that the company aims to make it easier for artists to highlight interesting comments in a post on the ‘IG Updates’ channel. Creators participating in the test can highlight a comment by swiping up and tapping the “Add to Story icon.” The comment will appear next to the original post in the Stories feed. Mosseri, on the other hand, did not provide any details on the public launch of the feature or the size of the test.
He added, “We’re testing the ability for public accounts to share comments from any public feed post or Reels to their Stories. The idea is to help creators highlight important or interesting comments from fellow creators or fans.” To do.”
Meanwhile, Instagram is developing a feature that will let users record audio notes in the meantime. “We haven’t started testing anything publicly yet, but we are working on the ability to create audio notes to share with your friends,” Mosseri said on his broadcast channel.
In December last year, Meta launched ‘Notes’ on Instagram, allowing users to post their thoughts and see what their friends are up to. According to information provided by Meta when introducing Notes, users can publish short posts of up to 60 characters using only text and emoticons.
Additionally, Meta has launched the web version of its recently launched text-based microblogging platform Threads. The company launched the web version a month after releasing the Android and iOS versions.
