Investigations have confirmed that the profound Meta-owned instant messaging channel, WhatsApp, will confirm the introduction of a new Meta Verified membership on the weekends to enable companies to sign up and obtain this exclusive badge.
As reported by WABetaInfo, this subscription will replace the policy of WhatsApp Premium, a subscription that permitted the use of a custom business link along with the chance to connect up to 10 devices for business use.
Furthermore, as the report states in its newest update, “Meta will be adding a setting within app settings for companies to further instil a sense of trust from its customers through the Verified badge“.
The primary function of ‘Meta Verified‘ is to enable their advertisement and outreach factored in their product or they are authentic and genuine prevents users from interacting with fake accounts or imposters. This Meta membership, Meta Verified – meant as the only version for business customers – is entirely up to the members and not an obligation to them.
As per the findings, in the next app update, the commercial version of Meta Verified Memberships – a verified membership status for individuals – will come into action. A similar feature reportedly will be launched by WhatsApp to enable its-user-Android platforms to share the music in audio during video calls.
It is said to allow one to watch video and listen to audio while on music at a time for some beta testers experiment. This will help to build our group thinking and conversations, but notably, this will also take our private talks to another level.
