WhatsApp update: Android users may get a new interface with white-top app bar
Meta-owned instant messaging program WhatsApp is apparently developing a new Android user design with a white top app bar and a green app named after the iOS version. A website that evaluates WhatsApp said, “Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.18 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we noticed that WhatsApp has added several updates to the top app bar for future updates to the app.” enhancements have been introduced. ,
As per the report, the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.13.16 upgrade is expected to bring a new interface to the Meta-owned program. As per the screenshot provided by WABetaInfo, the top bar in the new user interface will be white instead of the current green colour.
The latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS 23.17.1.77 from the TestFlight app has revealed that similar modifications are being worked on for WhatsApp for iOS. It also demonstrates WhatsApp’s intention to harmonize both applications with similar functionality and comparable user experience, even though the Android version will undoubtedly follow the Material Design 3 principles.
Future updates to the app will include a new layout, with a white top app bar and a green app name. The Meta-owned app is now rolling out a feature allowing users to change community announcement group posts. Users can use this tool to update and change the content of already sent messages, provided they do so within 15 minutes of sending.
The report claims that community announcement groups could benefit even more from this function. Select beta testers who have installed the latest upgrade to WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store can edit messages within community announcement groups.
